The quality management system of the Institute of Internal Combustion Engines and Thermodynamics affects all teaching and research activities of the Institute including the conducting of research projects. These proceed in accordance with the binding legislative requirements for a university institute.

Therefore, it is essential that our employees are team players. The central element in developing and improving communicative and cooperative competences is a clear structural and procedural organization that uses defined communication processes to guarantee the flow of information in all directions.
For us, transfer means incorporating research findings into teaching and making these results available to science and industry. Applied research, which is a fundamental concern of the Institute, rests upon the ability to transfer, which also provides the basis for successful and ongoing cooperation with industrial partners.
